Angela Love, PhD
Founder and Principal
Dr. Angela Love, founder of the Daymark Group, has over 20 years of experience in Fortune 500 corporation management, consulting, and coaching. As an executive coach and leadership development expert, Angela works with corporate and public-sector leaders and teams to maximize effectiveness in areas such as leadership, change management, communication, and high-performance team development. Her client list includes Microsoft, Citrix, Johnson & Johnson, Tyco, Trinity Health, Humana, GlaxoSmithKline, Carnival Corp, Nordstrom, FEDEX, Burger King, and the Discovery Channel.
During her 14 years with AT&T and then Marquette Medical/GE, Angela gained intensive experience in the areas of operations, team-based management, global account management, marketing, and information technology. Her global management experience provides her with in-depth knowledge of diverse industry business operations with an understanding of key organizational and leadership development principles.
Angela utilizes well-researched tools and approaches for individual and team development. She is a Founding Fellow of the Institute for Coaching Professional Association at McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate. An article related to her doctoral research and her work with Microsoft Executives was recently published in the Handbook of NeuroLeadership.
Angela holds a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and M.S. in Mental Health Counseling. She is a member of the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology, the Organizational Development Network, and the American Psychological Association.
The Daymark Group Advisory Board is lead by John Bess, of John Bess, LLC, a venture focused company which invests in and/or advises start-up and emerging companies.
John brings extensive leadership experience in both large and smaller entrepreneurial organizations gained from over 35 years of general management and consulting experience, including 21 years at Procter & Gamble, many as a senior executive responsible for some of their largest businesses. Post P&G, John was President/COO of International Home Foods, playing a key role in revitalizing this $1.5 billion food company’s brands and executing its successful IPO after it’s divestiture from American Home Products (Wyeth).
John has extensive consulting experience, having spent time at PwC/IBM Consulting as part of their Corporate Strategy practices. John is a member of the Dean’s Executive Advisory Board at New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Adriana Lerner Adelson, MBA
Adriana Lerner Adelson’s international career began at IBM where she spent 21 years in leadership positions in IT, marketing, sales and business development. Prior to her role as Senior Vice President of Strategy for the Buildings Division of Schneider-Electric, Adelson served six years at Tyco International, where she helmed Global Business Development as Vice President, while also heading the Tyco business council in Brazil. Adriana brings her invaluable expertise in building teams, strategies, and alliances to grow global sales in vertical markets for security, energy management, IT, and Art & Design businesses. She has a proven ability to source, recruit, develop, mentor and motivate executive-level talent. She is tireless champion and trailblazer for corporate social responsibility initiatives that build brand recognition while influencing the well-being of local and global communities.
Adelson’s creative approach to international commerce led her to found Arrivals Gate, a collective of small factories and workshops in developing countries that produce unique, handmade products for a global clientele, with the goal of providing a positive impact on small communities across the world.
Adriana co-authored Seducao dos Modismos, Adocao Indiscriminada de Novas Praticas Gerenciais; McGraw-Hill, August/1998. This book originated from her Masters thesis “The Fashion of Managerial Theories.” In 2011, Adriana created an educational project in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to teach electronic security technologies to the underserved youth and provide them with coaching and employment. The ongoing program has graduated 160 Certified Security Technicians to date. Adriana has an MBA, B. Sc., Business Administration, and B. Sc., Information Technology from Pontificia Universidade Catolica / Rio de Janeiro.
Nancy Vrechek, PhD
A Clinical Psychologist with more than 20-years’ experience as a clinician and therapist, Dr. Nancy Vrechek utilizes her skills as a corporate trainer, psychologist, and executive coach. Nancy brings expertise ranging from employee testing and assessment to strategic planning, employee wellness, creation and delivery of effective learning solutions, focus groups, and crisis response interventions.
Nancy has a deep understanding of human behavior and the impact of stress in the workplace and in families. As a past President of the Mental Health Association of Palm Beach County, along with Medical Staff appointments, Nancy’s expertise in the clinical, corporate, non-profit, and public sectors gives her a true understanding of the critical nature of employee wellness and engagement in increasingly more demanding workplaces.
Dr. Vrechek earned her Doctorate in Counseling and Human Development at the University of Georgia. She completed post doctorate studies in Clinical Psychology at the University of Miami, Florida Institute of Technology, and Florida Atlantic University. She has held earlier roles as the clinical director of psychiatric and addiction programs at Athens Regional Medical Center and the Pavilion-Humana Hospital in West Palm Beach.
